The University of Salerno (UNISA) 🇮🇹 is one of the most important scientific and cultural institutions of Southern Italy, meeting international challenges while also remaining strongly rooted in the local community. It provides numerous courses including life and health sciences, humanities, legal, economic, political sciences and engineering. UNISA hosts the “Observatory for the diffusion of Gender studies and Equal Opportunity culture (OGEPO)” which aims to promote research on gender studies and statistics, equality and Equal Opportunities.

UNISA also promotes the cultural and vocational training of the students, as well as their civil growth. UNISA states its public function, secularism, pluralism and independence from any ideological, political and economic orientation, guaranteeing, within its premises, freedom of thought and association. UNISA contributes to the design of Good Practices Guide, the INSIGHT Micro-Credential and the Microlearning Program.
